The problem
An honest student can be flagged by an algorithm — with no way to prove otherwise.
AI accusation tools used in admissions have false positive rates as high as 30%. Non-native speakers and students who write in careful, structured prose are disproportionately flagged.
Until now, there has been no standard, portable, trusted way for a student to prove their essay is their own. That is what Honest Education certification changes.
The process
Submit
Upload your child's admissions essay — PDF, Word, or plain text.
Certify
A responsible adult signs a sworn attestation. Our academic process reviews and certifies the essay as authentically human-written.
Prove
Your student receives a unique H-number. Any admissions officer can verify it instantly — without login or delay.
The standard
Not a tech tool.
An academic standard.
Honest.Education is built on the Humanable certification standard, overseen by an independent academic authority — not an AI company.
"This is not a technology product. It is an academic standard. Every student who submits their honest work deserves the chance to prove it. As a university writing professor with a PhD from Purdue, I've seen false positives and false negatives from AI screening tools. Protect your child's future and give enrollment officers what they need to trust your child's application."
The H-number
A single number.
Proof that lasts.
Every certified essay receives a unique H-number, permanently searchable in our verification database. Include it with every application.
Any admissions officer can verify it instantly. No login. No friction. Immediate confirmation.
Try the verification lookup"This work is honest. It always was."
Protect what they built.
